William C. “Trey” Putnam, PhD, RAC
Dr. Putnam previously served as the General Manager of Cardinal Health Regulatory Sciences, where he led Cardinal Health’s scientific and regulatory consulting business unit, which included more than 200 regulatory affairs associates. As part of Cardinal Health Regulatory Sciences, he played an integral role in the development and approval of dozens of pharmaceutical, biologic and medical device products.
Dr. Putnam is a Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences and the Department of Pharmacy Practice at the Texas Tech School of Pharmacy’s Health Sciences Center in Dallas, TX. He also serves as Director of the university’s Clinical Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics Center.
Dr. Putnam earned a PhD and MA in Organic Chemistry from Washington University in St. Louis, where his research focused on drug discovery of therapeutic oligonucleotides.
