In his distinguished career, Mr. West has represented numerous professional athletes and coaches. He was formerly a member of the NFLPA, served on the Board of Directors of the Mainstay Independence Bowl and has been recognized as a Distinguished Alumni of Louisiana State University. Mr. West has also hosted sports-related radio shows for years in Louisiana and has been a frequent color commentator for High School and Collegiate radio and television broadcasts. He is very passionate about team sports and their positive effects on society and has advocated for innovative approaches to athletes’ safety.  

Mr. West received his BA degree from Louisiana State University in 1982 and his JD from Southern University in 1988.
